Poem: Tomorrow

My mind is racing, tomorrow I have much to do,

and yet my emotional toolbox is ready to help get me through.

In it is full of basic coping strategy tasks,

write it down, take a breathe, don’t forget to ask.

Nothing on that to-do list is truly urgent or so big,

let your body be ten percent calmer, unburden your rig.

Reframe the list from a mountain to high,

to one that’s done with a view, ease and serene sigh.

By prioritizing and assigning a set time of “get it done”,

your brain can finally rest, it too needs to have fun.

And so, to start let your pencil hit that paper to plan,

set an intention, prioritize that list, or try a kanban.

You’ve got this, and have the tools to help you out,

Tomorrow will be attainable, absolutely. no doubt.
